What is observability maturity?

Observability maturity measures whether your monitoring stack actually reduces time-to-resolution, or just generates more alerts. A tool-rich environment with no correlation and constant noise can be less mature than a leaner one with clean signal. InsideOut scores three pillars:

What is monitored (infra, network, logs, application) versus what should be monitored, and how rationalized the tooling is across monitoring types
Event Correlation, Noise Reduction & RCA
How raw events are aggregated/correlated into meaningful alerts, noise is eliminated, and root cause is investigated after the fact
Dashboarding, Automation & Self-Healing
How monitoring data is visualized/reported, and the degree to which detected issues trigger automated response or self-healing

The four levels of observability maturity

Manual
Monitoring exists; someone has to notice and interpret it.
2.
Consistent
Reliable coverage and reporting, but still largely manual triage.
3.
Automated
Real-time dashboarding, correlation, and automated workflows.
4.
Intelligent
Predictive, self-healing systems that resolve or prevent before a human is paged.
